ClockReportsXE: Clearing all clock records from terminal(s)

How to clear all clock records from the terminal(s)

  • First ensure you have a copy of all the records appearing within ClockReportsXE
  • To do this, carry out a manual sync by clicking the ‘Sync Device’ button on the ClockReports dashboard
  • Once completed, navigate the the ‘Records’ tab and select the most recent date. If they are there, continue to the next step. Otherwise please refer to this article
  • To clear the records, navigate to ‘Setup Options’ > ‘Sync Options’
  • Tick the box that says ‘Clear Device Records after Sync’ then close the window
  • Carry out a manual sync of the terminal(s) again by clicking the ‘Sync Device’ button. This will clear the records from the terminal(s)
  • Ensure to untick the box from the previous step before continuing any syncs. Otherwise they will keep being removed
  • To do this, navigate to ‘Setup Options’ > ‘Sync Options’
  • Untick the box that says ‘Clear Device Records after Sync’ then close the window
