Thermographic cameras
The Idency range of terminals use thermographic cameras which create an image using infrared radiation, similar to regular cameras that form an image using visible light. Instead of the 400–700 nanometre range, infrared cameras are sensitive to wavelengths from about 1,000 nm to about 14,000 nm, making them very sensitive, and thus very accurate in detecting body temperature.
