Can’t Open ClockReports: “Another Version of ClockReportsXE is already running on your PC!”

Why am I getting the error?

Sometimes when you attempt to open the ClockReportsXE desktop software it fails with an error message. The error message is typically “Another Version of ClockReportsXE is already running on your PC!”.

The reason for this error is because the ClockReportsXE process is still running somewhere in the background.

To solve this issue, on your windows device simple go to ‘Task Manager’ and end any ClockReports processes.

You should now be able to right click the ClockReportsXE desktop icon to run as administrator, which should now open without any errors.
