Use Nest Cam as a pet cam or baby monitor. Or just feel better knowing that everything’s OK when you’re away. It only takes a moment to set up, and lets you stream securely – you’ll get a 130º wide-angle view and can zoom in for a closer look.
You can’t always be watching your video feed. So the new Nest Cam looks for activity and sends an alert to your phone if it sees something. You can set up alerts for motion, audio, or both. It’s also a good listener. Nest Cam ignores background noise, like the sound of traffic. But it will alert you if it hears something that stands out, like a boom, crash or the voice of an intruder.
This gives you the ability to tell your dog to get off the sofa, or stop chewing pillows. You can also hear when the baby wakes up and comfort the baby with your own voice.

Nest Cam only takes a moment to install. Just plug it in and set it up from your phone. The Nest Cam stand works in all kinds of homes, on all types of surfaces.
A NEST HOME
Nest Thermostat and Nest Protect both work coherently with Nest Cam, providing a safe Nest Home.
When you set your Nest Thermostat (sold separately) to Away, Nest Cam can automatically turn itself on. Switch your thermostat to Home, and Nest Cam will turn itself off again. If your Nest Protect senses smoke (sold separately), Nest Cam will automatically record what happens and send you an alert.
