Anviz Admin Management Password Reset
Option 1:
- If the device is on the network and powered on
- Open up the Anviz CrossChex software
- Navigate to the [Device tab]
- Click on [Add Device]
- Then Click [Search]
- If the device is on the network, it should appear in the list
- You can select it from the list give it a name and on the left side menu and click [Add]
- Once added, you can click Device [Parameter]
- Within this menu you can see the Management Password field
- The default password is 12345, but you can set any password you like
- Once you click OK, this will be saved to the device and you will have access again
Option 2:
- If the device is not on the network there is one last way we can reset the password
- Click on the Cog icon at the bottom right of the screen
- Enter the following code 000015
- This will then bring up a number on screen
- Leave this number on screen and the device powered on
- Please contact us at support@idency.com with this code and we can contact Anviz directly to get an unlock code
- Once we have given you this code, you can login to the device with this password
- The Username: 0, Password:”The ID we send you”
- This password is valid for 12 hours
- To change the device password navigate to Settings > Device and in here you can change the Admin PIN Code
