TSG Device “SLOG OVERFLOW” Flag Message

What does the “SLOG OVERFLOW” flag message mean?

If your Trustone Global (TSG) Fingerprint device shows a “SLOG OVERFLOW” message then one of your logs is full. Steps to clear logs:

  1. Sync with ClockReports/Idency Plugin Software to ensure all data is copied off the TSG device.
  2. Then go into the menu on the TSG device (Press *, then 1234, then #)
  3. In the main Menu, press 2 for Settings, then press 2 again for the Advanced menu list.
  4. Scroll down using F2 until you can see Clear Management Log and clear General Log.
  5. Press # on each of these to clear the logs.
  6. Come out of the menu and the alarm should go off and the message should disappear.
