HID have unveiled a new look for the DigitalPersona 4500 optical fingerprint reader

HID Global is proud to announce the availability of the DigitalPersona 4500 optical fingerprint reader with the HID logo

Providing the same functionality as its predecessor, the new DigitalPersona 4500 is a fast and easy-to-use optical USB fingerprint reader in a compact form factor that is perfect for desktop or point-of-sale environments. Its compact design conserves desk space in enterprises, and its professional, modern appearance looks elegant in point-of-sale environments. The DigitalPersona 4500 Reader utilises optical fingerprint scanning technology to achieve excellent image quality, a large capture area and superior reliability. The high-quality metal casing resists unintentional movement. Units with the HID logo are currently available on request from Idency and will be main stock as of December 2020.
