Onze biometrische apparaten slaan biometrische gegevens veilig op, maar deze kunnen niet elders worden gebruikt.
Een willekeurige matrix van gegevens wordt verkregen uit een vingerafdruk of gezicht van een gebruiker (in plaats van een volledige identificeerbare scan), er wordt een algoritme op toegepast en vervolgens worden de gegevens versleuteld opgeslagen. Deze gegevens zijn niet leesbaar door enig ander type apparaat en je kunt er geen afbeeldingen van een gezicht of vingerafdruk meer uit halen. Het is uitsluitend een eenrichtingsproces.

Biometrische gegevens worden geclassificeerd als Gegevens voor speciale categorieën door de ICO en dus moet je gebruikers een alternatieve manier bieden om te klokken. Al onze apparaten hebben ook een RFID-kaart/tag of ID & PIN als secundaire opties.

How palm vein recognition works

Stap 1

Present your palm

Select in or out on the screen, then hold your hand in front of the terminal. There’s no card to tap, no PIN to enter and no contact with the device at any point.

Stap 2

The camera scans your vein

An infrared camera captures the vein pattern beneath the skin. Because the pattern sits inside the hand, dirt, cuts and wet hands make no difference to the read.

Stap 3

Matched in an instant

The pattern becomes an encrypted template and is matched against the stored record in under a second. The employee is clocked in and on their way to work.
