Våra biometriska enheter lagrar biometrisk data säkert men den kan inte användas någon annanstans.
En slumpmässig datamatris skapas från ett fingeravtryck eller ansikte från en användare (snarare än en fullt identifierbar skanning), en algoritm tillämpas och sedan krypteras datan vid lagring. Denna data är inte läsbar av någon annan typ av enhet och man kan inte få tillbaka några bilder av ansiktet eller fingeravtrycket. Det är endast en envägsprocess.

Biometriska data klassas som Data för särskilda kategorier av ICO och därför måste du erbjuda användarna ett alternativt sätt att klocka. Alla våra enheter har också RFID-kort/tagg eller ID & PIN som sekundära alternativ.

How palm vein recognition works

Steg 1

Present your palm

Select in or out on the screen, then hold your hand in front of the terminal. There’s no card to tap, no PIN to enter and no contact with the device at any point.

Steg 2

The camera scans your vein

An infrared camera captures the vein pattern beneath the skin. Because the pattern sits inside the hand, dirt, cuts and wet hands make no difference to the read.

Steg 3

Matched in an instant

The pattern becomes an encrypted template and is matched against the stored record in under a second. The employee is clocked in and on their way to work.
