How do I add my Nest Learning Thermostat to my Nest Account?

You’ll need to be able to touch your thermostat to add it to your Nest Account. This means that you won’t be able to add it if you’re not at home.

To connect your Nest Thermostat to your Nest Account, you’ll get an entry key from your thermostat and enter it with the Nest app.

Get an entry key from your thermostat:

Enter the key in the Nest app:

1. Press your thermostat’s ring to open the Quick View menu.
2. Choose Instellingen .
3. Draai de ring naar Nest Account and press the ring to select it.
4. Selecteer Get Entry Key to retrieve a unique entry key.
5. Follow the next steps below to use your Nest app to add your thermostat to your Nest Account.

1. Open the Nest app and sign in to your Nest Account if prompted.
2. From the home screen, tap the Instellingen icon .
3. Tik op Add product.
4. Scan the QR code on the back of your thermostat or tap Continue without scanning en dan Nest Thermostaat.
5. Follow the Nest app’s instructions. When prompted, type in the entry key on your thermostat’s screen.

Tip:If you have trouble getting an entry key, you may have an issue with your home Wi-Fi network.

You’ll see your thermostat appear on the Nest app home screen. Tap your thermostat icon to control it and change settings.
