The Safire Handheld Body Temperature Scanner is ideal for pubs, clubs, restaurants, retail shops and businesses. Companies can either have a member of staff holding the device and pointing it at employees and visitors as they walk by, or use the optional tripod with the device connected to a PC to be alerted remotely if a fever is detected. With its high temperature sound alarm and warning light, there can be no mistaken approval of entry, as it can also automatically (or manually) capture an image in case of a high temperature reading. The operator of the scanner can keep a safe distance when using the device as it can accurately measure body temperature at 1.5m (optional tripod sold separately on request).

This portable handheld thermometer from Safire offers accurate real-time body temperature screening through a thermographic camera with a thermal resolution of 80×60 and an accuracy of 0.5ºC.

The handheld thermometer can even be monitored remotely via an external PC, where managers can observe trends in temperatures and become instantly aware of any temperature increases. The software offers a live image feed, event history, and audible alarm notifications of high temperatures.
